Your photographs
stay yours.

Arther Camera processes photographs on your device. There are no app accounts, advertisements, or third-party tracking SDKs.

Who operates Arther Camera

Arther Camera is provided by Keegan Porter / K.Rise.Media. For privacy questions or requests, contact k.rise.media@gmail.com.

Photographs and capture information

The app uses the camera only after you grant permission. It develops photographs locally and saves your chosen files to Apple Photos with permission. Pending captures, thumbnails, capture settings, and look recipes are kept in the app's local storage. We do not receive your photographs or capture records on our servers.

The app does not request location access or add geotags. An imported original may already contain metadata from its source. When you retain or export that original, its existing metadata may remain.

Personal looks and iCloud

Looks are stored on your iPhone and sync automatically when your iCloud account is available. You can also export them as files. iCloud sync sends look recipes, record identifiers, revisions, and deletion records to your private Apple iCloud database. Photographs are not uploaded by Arther Camera's look-sync feature. Apple's own Photos and device-backup settings may separately sync or back up your data.

Your iCloud account is used to keep account-specific look libraries separate. Looks created in the local-only library are adopted into the available iCloud account. Once assigned to an account, that library is not automatically transferred to a different account. iCloud is provided by Apple and is governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy.

Permissions and your choices

You can change Camera and Photos permissions in iPhone Settings. Importing through Apple's picker lets you choose individual photographs. Arther Camera requests additional Photos access only when the corresponding workflow needs it, such as checking an interrupted save.

Delete looks in the app to remove them from the current library; iCloud deletions sync when available. Small deletion records may remain to prevent old devices from restoring a deleted look. Exported files and saved photographs are managed through Files and Photos. Deleting the app removes its local data, including local-only looks and unsaved captures, but does not delete copies already saved to Photos, Files, backups, or iCloud.

Purchases and diagnostics

Arther provides 30 days of full access automatically from first use, followed by an optional one-time lifetime in-app purchase. There is no subscription or automatic charge. The app stores its first-use date and a time checkpoint in your iPhone's Keychain to determine access. These device-local records may remain after you delete the app and are not sent to our servers. Apple handles payment information; Arther verifies purchase records on your device to determine access and restore purchases. We do not add third-party analytics or tracking to the app. Apple may provide aggregated store or crash information under your Apple privacy settings.

Arther Camera for Android

On Android, the app saves finished photographs to your gallery (Pictures/Arther Camera) through Android's media store, which needs no storage permission; it does not read your gallery. Photos you choose in the look editor come through the system photo picker, one at a time. The app requests only the Camera and Internet permissions.

Instead of iCloud, looks are stored in the app's private storage and are included in Android's device backup and device-to-device transfer when you have them turned on. Unsaved captures and imported photos are excluded. The first-use date and a time checkpoint are kept in the app's storage and in Google Play services Block Store, so reinstalling does not restart the free month; they contain no personal information. To keep a clock set ahead from shortening the trial, the app occasionally reads the current time from an HTTPS request to google.com, sending no identifiers. Google Play handles payment; the app verifies Google's signed purchase record on your device. You can change the Camera permission in Android Settings.
