A little help with
your camera.
Capture settings, personal looks, and keeping your photographs safe.
First month, lifetime access and restoring
Full access begins automatically when you first open Arther and lasts 30 days. After that, a one-time US $15 purchase unlocks all features indefinitely. Local prices appear before purchase. There is no subscription or automatic charge. On another iPhone, use the same Apple Account and choose Restore Purchases. Restoring does not restart the first month. Your saved photos and looks are not deleted when the first month ends.
Getting started
Allow camera access to compose and capture. Choose the files you want to keep in the format control above the viewfinder. Arther Camera begins with Look: None and no supplied creative presets. Open the look editor to create your own look with Tone, Color, and Film controls. Swipe the Looks button to choose a saved look; tap it to return to None.
Which capture controls are available?
Available lenses, aperture stops, RAW sources, resolutions, and combinations of automatic and manual exposure depend on the device and active camera. Fixed-aperture cameras display their fixed value. Changing a creative look does not set your shutter speed or ISO.
What is saved with RAW?
Choose a file type and resolution together in Photo settings. RAW saves the original DNG without baking in a look or crop. HEIC and JPEG save a finished photograph with your look; their temporary camera original is removed after a successful Photos save. Available resolutions come from the selected lens.
Where are my looks?
Looks save on your iPhone and sync automatically with your private iCloud library when iCloud is available. Looks created before iCloud becomes available are added to that account's library. Each iCloud account has a separate library; switching accounts does not transfer the previous account's looks. Export a .artherlook file to keep an independent backup.
A photograph did not save to Photos
Open Photo settings, then Unsaved photos. Captures with unfinished saves remain in Arther Camera for retry or file export. Check available storage and Photos permissions. If a previous save was interrupted, the app may request access to verify whether Photos already received it. Do not delete the app while you have unsaved captures.
Can I edit an existing photograph?
Import an individual HEIC, JPEG, or supported iPhone DNG from Photos or Files. Adjust its look in the full-screen editor and save a new copy. The imported original is not overwritten.
Using the camera from the Lock Screen
Add the Arther Camera control through Apple's Lock Screen or Control Center customization. System camera-button assignment is your choice in iPhone settings. Locked capture uses the current look and settings; viewing older photographs, importing, and managing the look library require unlocking.
Permissions and privacy
Camera access is used for photography. Photos access is requested when saving or reviewing requires it. Arther Camera has no user account, advertising, tracking SDK, or location permission. Processing happens on your device. Read the privacy policy for details.
